Key Responsibilities
The Legal Operations Intern will support the Legal function by assisting with junior-level tasks across the following areas:
- Legal Technology & AI Tools: Assisting with the rollout and support of an AI-based legal tools; preparing user documentation and coordinating training; monitoring tool usage and performance.
- Contract & Matter Administration: Supporting contract lifecycle management (intake, routing, execution, storage, renewal tracking); maintaining templates and clause libraries; helping document CLM tools and workflows.
- Playbooks & Documentation: Drafting and updating legal playbooks and process guides; coordinating periodic reviews with stakeholders
- Legal Cost Tracking: Supporting setup and maintenance of a legal cost dashboard; tracking external counsel and vendor spend, and reviewing against billing guidelines.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Acting as a point of contact for internal users on legal processes and tools; supporting onboarding and training on legal systems.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Law, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic and proactive in exploring AI / LLMs / digital tools; exposure to contract management systems, document automation, or legal tech is a plus.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Proactive, reliable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

Statutory notice: In accordance with the Austrian collective agreement for employees in Consulting, the minimum gross monthly salary for this internship (40 hours/week) is € 2,134. Please note that this is a legal requirement to state, but your actual compensation will be based on your qualifications and professional experience, and we would be happy to discuss it with you personally.
