Electric Wings Group builds drones that work - reliable, efficient, and built to meet international standards. We're growing, and we're looking for a sharp mind to join the team ๐
The role
You'll be the person who decides how our drones think and act. That means writing the software that tells a drone what to do, when to do it, and how to handle the unexpected - from talking to the autopilot we use PX4 to planning and executing full missions autonomously.
Day-to-day work includes:
- Building the logic that runs on the computer onboard the drone
- Managing how the drone communicates with the ground (MAVLink)
- Testing your code in simulation before it ever flies
- Working closely with the autopilot system and the rest of the engineering team
What you'll bring:
๐ You write clean Python and feel comfortable in a Linux terminal
๐ง You think in systems - state machines, decision logic, edge cases
๐ง You've worked with embedded or single-board computers before
๐ง You can read C/C++ code when you need to understand what's happening under the hood
๐ก Bonus if you've worked with telemetry, robotics, or control systems before
What we offer
- Competitive salary based on your experience
- A team that knows what they're doing and enjoys working together
- Room to grow - technically and professionally
- Sports & wellness support
