About the Role

As a Product Designer, you will own the design and user experience of a growing AI-first product. You will be the first designer on the founding team, shaping not only the product but also how design is embedded in the company’s culture and decision-making. Your work will make complex workflows intuitive, elegant, and user-friendly, directly impacting the success of the product.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own all aspects of product and UX design, from concept to launch.
• Craft intuitive flows, prototypes, and interfaces that simplify complex workflows.
• Conduct user interviews, research, and data analysis to understand customer needs.
• Collaborate closely with founders, product managers, and engineers to implement designs.
• Build scalable design systems and frameworks that grow with the company.
• Ensure visual and experiential consistency across product UI, marketing, and brand touchpoints.
• Evolve the brand identity over time, starting with immediate visual alignment and leading a strategic refresh.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in product and UX design.
• Proven ability to design UIs, flows, and prototypes.
• Autonomous and able to own a complex product from concept to launch.
• Experience working closely with engineering and product teams.
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
• Passion for designing AI-first products and creating elegant user experiences.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working on 0-to-1 products or early-stage startups.
• Strong visual design and brand sensibility.
• Ability to operate in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.

The client is a growing Berlin-based startup focused on developing AI-first products that are intuitive, beautiful, and user-friendly while solving complex workflows. You will work directly with the founders and engineering team to shape the product from the ground up, influencing both design culture and product strategy.
