Key Responsibilities:
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end, including preparation of employment documents, work equipment coordination, and company asset collection/return
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records in line with German labor law (e.g., ArbZG, BDSG) and internal company policies
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries on HR policies, benefits, and processes
- Own the daily operation of the company's HRIS (HiBob), ensuring employee data is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Support HR reporting and data audits to ensure data integrity across systems
- Assist with workflow configuration and process improvements within HR platforms
- Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers across multiple time zones
- Manage candidate communication and support a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Support approval workflows and documentation related to hiring decisions
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including letters, parcels, and courier coordination
- Support day-to-day office operations to maintain a productive, organized, and welcoming work environment
- Assist with travel coordination, vendor communication, and general administrative tasks as needed
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR, office management, or administrative role; experience in a tech or international environment is a plus
- Solid understanding of German labor law fundamentals and HR best practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- High attention to detail and a reliable approach to handling confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Hands-on experience with HR and recruitment platforms — familiarity with HiBob, Workable, Workmotion, or similar tools is highly desirable
- Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus
At Ververica, you'll be part of a dynamic and innovative team at the forefront of real-time data processing technology. We offer a creative and collaborative work environment where your ideas and contributions will shape the future of our brand and its presence in the industry.
