Java Software Engineer

Java Full Stack Developer (PL/SQL)

Our client is seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-level applications in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test real-world, enterprise Java applications
• Develop and consume SOAP and RESTful web services
• Work with Spring Framework (all modules), Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, and Spring Annotations
• Optimize performance and ensure high-quality, maintainable code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Scrum/Agile best practices
• Manage source code and build processes using SVN, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar
• Develop complex queries using JPA/Hibernate and native/HQL
• Understand infrastructure for web applications (web servers, app servers, configurations, etc.)
• Work with relational databases and solid SQL modeling concepts

Required Skills:

• Hands-on Java experience (analysis, design, testing)
• Experience with PL/SQL
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning and code optimization
• Experience with JavaScript tools: NodeJS, NPM, Jasmine, Karma

Desired Skills:

• Solid understanding of JavaScript functional programming, object-oriented techniques, and modern front-end standards
• Web UI development experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS
• Unix shell scripting experience
• Prior exposure to ETL tools like Informatica, SSIS
• Nice-to-have: AutoSys, Hadoop, S3
