Data Scientist

For our Data Team we are seeking a Data Scientist. Our Data/ML team is central to Subito’s mission, leveraging machine learning and advanced analytics to optimize the user experience, personalize services, and drive new revenue streams across our massive user base. You will have the opportunity to work on one of the richest datasets in Italy, given our traffic volume and user engagement levels. 

• 5+ years of experience in Data-related jobs of which at least 3 years as Data Scientist

• Highly proficient with Python 

• Hands on experience in designing, training and deploying ML models

• Highly proficient with data extraction/manipulation tools (SQL, Spark, Pandas, Polars…)

• Experience in applied statistical techniques

• Experience with software development tools (Docker, Git, Cloud infrastructure, …)

Nice to have: 

• Data visualization and presentation skills to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner

• Good English proficiency level

• Prior experience in a digital company

• Experience with ML Ops tools (Kubeflow, MLflow, CI/CD, …)
  
  

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a Machine Learning model in Subito: design, implement, test and deploy in production.

• Push forward the ML practice with new use cases, techniques and practices

• Ensure observability and support on the existing models in production

• Formulate hypotheses and design experiments to prove the value of your models 

• Work with stakeholders to ensure we increase adoption of AI in our company

• Get to know and help design our data lake to extract as much value as possible and to better model our business
