ALT2026-0216 - Software Engineer Java

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer Java for a key client based in Luxembourg

Main tasks

Develop and maintain applications using one or more of the following technologies:

• Java (backend)
• React (frontend)
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement visual designs.
• Optimize application performance for scalability and responsiveness.
• Participate to test automation coverage

Requirements

Minimum experience (mandatory)

• 3 years of experience in the field of React development
• 2 years of experience in the field of JAVA development

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:

• Experience with continuous build and integration using Jenkins, Maven, Sonar, Liquibase, Junit
• Github or another source code repository
• Strong knowledge of agile practices and experience with agile planning tools (e.g., Jira)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with functional testing and writing test automation scripts

• English (B2 level) mandatory
