Senior Business Product Manager - CRM & Commercial Enablement
We are currently searching for an temporary Business Product Manager - CRM & Commercial Enablement at Friesland Campina in Amersfoort.

Context
A B2B organization is simplifying and scaling its commercial technology landscape. A limited number of high impact transformation initiatives sit at the heart of how the business engages customers and enables commercial teams at scale.
These initiatives do not require additional delivery capacity. They require senior business ownership: someone who can set direction, align leaders, and make clear trade offs to ensure commercial impact and continuity.
To that end, we are looking for an Business Product Manager to provide senior business leadership across these initiatives.
Scope & Key Responsibilities
Senior Business Ownership
- Act as business owner for a portfolio of commercial and customer-facing transformation initiatives (e.g. organizational consolidation, modernization of commercial tooling).
- Drive decisions based on commercial value, customer impact, and business priorities.
- Safeguard customer experience and commercial continuity during periods of change.
Senior Stakeholder Alignment & Governance
- Align senior stakeholders across Business, Product, and Technology around a single, coherent direction.
- Act as the senior business counterpart to technology leadership.
- Support governance and operating model decisions where business leadership is required.
- Resolve escalations and misalignment to prevent fragmentation, scope drift, or local optimization.
Engagement at Scale - Strategic Advisory
- Provide senior guidance on digital and commercial engagement strategies.
- Ensure use cases support scalable, repeatable ways of working across markets or business units.
- Balance ambition with feasibility, sequencing, and long-term sustainability.
Team Leadership - Product Owners (2 FTE)
- Line manage and steer two Product Owners.
- Set clear mandates, priorities, and outcome expectations.
- Coach Product Owners on value articulation, prioritization, and dependency management.
- Ensure initiatives and backlogs are aligned to enterprise outcomes, not local optimization.
- Act as escalation point for strategic trade offs and decision making.
What This Assignment Is Not
- No operational or day to day project management
- No detailed functional or technical solution design
- No ownership of sprint execution or delivery backlogs
This is a senior interim leadership role, focused on making the right decisions at the right level.
