Role Overview:

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a leading European bank and financial services group. This role requires strong expertise in Tax-related processes and systems, and a solid understanding of business analysis best practices. You will be working closely with both business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure the successful delivery of functional requirements and project outcomes.

What you will do:

• Lead the formalisation of requirements and manage the Change Request cycle with precision and clarity;

• Apply business analysis best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables;

• Contribute to pre-analysis discussions with business stakeholders to shape and challenge initial needs;

• Translate business needs into functional specifications and validate them with stakeholders;

• Provide functional guidance and expertise to IT development teams throughout the project lifecycle;

• Support functional testing activities and assist business users during user acceptance testing;

• Monitor project phases and release cycles, ensuring alignment with planning and deadlines;

• Maintain clear and consistent reporting and documentation throughout the process.

What you are like:

• Proficient in business analysis methodologies and tools;

• Expert in Tax-related processes and systems within the financial industry;

• Experienced in Agile methodologies and collaborative environments;

• Skilled in working with relational databases, preferably SQL;

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;

• Excellent communication skills and ability to foster strong Business/IT relationships;

• Fluent in English.
