Your Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate a sovereign on-premise private cloud platform across the full stack (infrastructure, networking, virtualization, containers)
- Manage Linux-based systems, compute, storage, and networking (L2/L3, routing, load balancing, firewalls)
- Build and operate container and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) and virtualization layers
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and automation (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure observability, monitoring, logging, and system reliability across the platform
- Apply security best practices across all layers (IAM, network security, encryption, system hardening)
- Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple layers and continuously improve platform resilience and usability
Your Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration and infrastructure engineering
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible or similar)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, scripting or programming (Python, Go, Bash or similar)
- Understanding of observability tools and reliability concepts
- Strong problem-solving mindset, ownership, and willingness to learn
- Swiss citizenship is required
