The development team in Brasov specializes in creating custom software solutions using C#, C++ and Python. These applications are built upon the Tekla Structures 3D and SDS2 3D modeling and detailing platforms. On top of these, we also offer development expertise for Trimble Connect BIM platform. Our services target CANAM GROUP and third-party clients, providing industry-specific solutions for a range of projects, including bridges, commercial buildings, and residential constructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements;
• Investigate and propose solutions to development, design or performance issues;
• Participate in the estimation and forecasting of the scope of work;
• Adhere to architecture, design, implementation, and security standards and best practices.
• Write high-quality code that meets customer needs and aims for simplicity, clarity and testability;
• Implement unit and integration testing and perform functional and performance testing as required;
• Participate in code reviews or use collaborative programming techniques to promote high quality results;
• Prepare the technical documentation of the solutions developed;
• Promote a collaborative team environment and work closely with your colleagues to achieve targeted objectives;
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience;
• 5+ years of experience in a similar position;
• Fluency in spoken and written English;
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP);
• Knowledge of the following technologies, tools and concepts: C++, C#, geometry and trigonometry, WPF, SQL or NoSQL;
• Would be a plus: 3D modeling software, Google Cloud Platform, Blazor.

About Us

Canam Group Romania began in Brasov as a small detailing office in 1998 which afterwards became a major company on the Brasov market, with its own building and more than 400 employees. In 2024, we expanded our presence in Romania by opening a second office in Cluj-Napoca.

The Romanian offices are part of Canam Group, a global company employing 5,100 people across five countries: Canada, United States, Romania, India and the Philippines.

Our team in Brasov provides 3D modelling, detailing and estimation services for constructions such as buildings, steel structures and bridges. We work for our plants and offices in Canada and the Unites States and for other North American steel fabricators.
