Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Contract/Fixed-Term

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. You should be insightful, inquisitive, and naturally collaborative. We are looking for a problem solver, a colleague who is happy to share ideas and opinions. You will be part of a highly motivated IT team and will work closely with IT architects, developers, testers, and application admins, while keeping a close collaboration with the business lines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define, design, and execute comprehensive test scenarios for both manual and automated testing;
• Perform end-to-end testing of APIs (REST/SOAP) and microservices, ensuring reliability and performance;
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects across services and middleware modules;
• Ensure adherence to Agile Scrum methodology throughout the QA process;
• Apply AI tools to enhance testing efficiency, optimize test cases, and improve overall software quality;
• Maintain knowledge of banking software, administration processes, and financial products to ensure domain-specific compliance.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, including manual and automated testing methodologies;
• Proficiency in Java and strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts;
• Solid experience in API testing (REST/SOAP), with expertise in tools like Postman or Bruno;
• Hands-on experience with API microservices, middleware modules, and service-oriented architectures;
• Familiarity with mobile application testing (Android & iOS) and web frontends (Angular);
• Technical proficiency with Jira, Confluence, SQL, Postman, Kibana, and the ELK stack;
• Experience working with banking software, including administration, processes, and financial products;
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and collaborative workflows;
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal;
• Mandatory experience leveraging AI tools throughout the development, testing, and optimization processes;
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Appium is a plus;
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
