Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field,
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design principles (SOLID, Clean Code, pragmatic design patterns),
• 5+ years of backend experience with Java and Spring Boot (or similar JVM-based frameworks),
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API design and development,
• Familiarity with SOAP and XML technologies,
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging systems,
• Experience in the payments/fintech domain is a strong plus,
• Experience with Unit Test Frameworks,
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services,
• Develop and enhance robust backend systems and APIs,
• Build and manage integrations related to payment systems and financial services,
• Apply best practices such as clean code and design principles to ensure high code quality,
• Maintain and optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and scalability,
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve system stability,
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
