Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to identify business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating business analyses, building compelling business cases, and supporting the development of digital products and systems in an eCommerce environment.

We are seeking a proactive, curious, and enthusiastic individual who is comfortable bridging business and technology.

Key responsibilities

• Design functional specifications of applications to address business and user needs
• Identify internal and external factors that may impact requirements
• Document requirements, including customer journeys, features, user stories, cross-team dependencies, and scope (in/out)
• Prepare and present compelling business cases for proposed solutions
• Define objectives, dependencies, resources, timelines, metrics, costs, and risks for initiatives
• Identify problems, opportunities, and ways to improve existing business processes and workflows
• Apply various business process modeling tools and techniques
• Evaluate trade-offs and their impact on functionality, interoperability, efficiency, and cost
• Participate in different stages of the system development lifecycle (SDLC)

Requirements (must-have)

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience in consumer industries / retail, especially in eCommerce (front-end and back-end)
• Strong expertise in requirements gathering and business case creation
• Experience in process mapping and workflow design
• Ability to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Experience in workshop facilitation
• Strong delivery focus and ability to support Project Managers and Business Owners

Nice to have

• Experience with platforms such as Magento or AEM
• Proficiency in German or French (B2+)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in ambiguous environments
