Senior Mobile Engineer (SaaS/AI · Onsite · Şişli, İstanbul)

Apilex is building the infrastructure for how legal work gets done. Our platform is used by lawyers and legal teams across Turkey, Germany, and France, handling real casework, real documents, real deadlines. We are 80+ people, fully bootstrapped, and growing on product revenue alone. No investors setting our priorities. Just a hard problem, a strong product, and a team that ships.

We are hiring a Senior Mobile Engineer to own the experience lawyers have with Apilex on the go.

• Build and maintain the mobile application used by legal professionals who have no patience for slowness or bugs — they are in court, at a client, on a deadline.
• Own the mobile experience end-to-end: architecture, performance, reliability, and the fine details that make a professional tool feel like a professional tool.
• Work closely with product and design to translate complex legal workflows into mobile interactions that are fast and intuitive under pressure.
• Integrate AI-powered features into the mobile surface in ways that feel natural rather than bolted on.
• Handle the hard parts of mobile in a document-heavy product: large file rendering, offline behavior, sync, and multi-language content across three jurisdictions.
• Set the technical direction for the mobile codebase and hold the bar on code quality.

Must-have:

• 5+ years of mobile engineering experience on production applications with real user bases.
• Deep expertise in React Native — this is our primary mobile stack.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals. You understand what is happening under the hood, not just the framework abstractions.
• You have built apps that handle complex data, offline states, and real-time sync — not just CRUD over an API.
• Strong understanding of mobile performance: rendering, memory, battery, network. You know how to diagnose and fix problems at the React Native layer and below it.
• You take ownership. If the app is slow or broken, you do not wait for someone to file a ticket.

Nice-to-have:

• Native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience for bridging and performance-critical modules.
• Experience building document viewers, PDF rendering, or annotation tools on mobile.
• Background in enterprise or B2B mobile products where reliability expectations are high.
• Experience with multi-language or multi-locale applications.
• Familiarity with integrating AI or LLM-based features into mobile surfaces.

Mobile in a legal context is not a simplified version of the desktop product. Lawyers use their phones in situations where every second counts and every error has a cost. The technical challenges — document rendering, sync, offline reliability, multi-language content — are real engineering problems, not UI polish work.
