Risk Manager

Responsibilities

Risk Assessments: Conduct regular assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities inthe crypto exchange’s operations, and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Policy Development: Create and implement policies and procedures for managing risksassociated with trading, custody, and other exchange operations while ensuring compliancewith MASAK and SPK.

Internal Controls: Establish and maintain a robust internal control system to ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Due Diligence: Evaluate new crypto assets and projects to ensure they align with theexchange's risk and compliance standards.

Market Monitoring: Analyze market and industry trends, providing regular risk reports to themanagement team.

Team Coordination: Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure aunified approach to risk management.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers,including security and insurance providers, to ensure adequate risk coverage.

Industry Engagement: Participate in industry forums and regulatory discussions to stayinformed about best practices and developments in risk management.

Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, ora related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in risk management, preferably within the crypto or financialservices sectors.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to crypto exchangesand financial services.

Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Project Management: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projectssimultaneously.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
