Senior Trading Application Support Engineer

• Up to $250,000 + Bonus

• Manhattan, New York City – Hybrid Working

• Flexible Start Date – Aiming for May/June 2026

We have partnered with a World Leading Quantitative Hedge Fund in their search for a Senior Trading Application Support Engineer to join their team in Manhattan!

They’ve had a lot of growth over the past 3 years and have added headcount in their NY Office, so are looking to grow their team to support with the increased demand from the internal stakeholders.

You will take ownership over multiple greenfield projects, have the backing from Senior Leadership with autonomy, fantastic office location and the opportunity to take on personal projects on Fridays!

Primary Responsibilities :

• Working alongside the Front Office teams (Traders, Quants, Risk) to reactively fix issues when they arise

• Proactively working with IT colleagues to evaluate and recommend new technologies for the process of continuous improvement.

• Be the first port of contact within the team for complex issues when escalated from Operational teams.

• Using Python to support the companies idea of automating as much as possible, to decrease reliability, overhead cost and speed of service.

Technical Skills Required:

• At least 5 Years working in a similar position (Production Support) within the Capital Markets industry

• Expertise in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and any other Operating Systems are beneficial.

• Experience working in a Front Office environment, dealing with FO stakeholders and knowledge of the full trade lifecycle.

• Excellent knowledge of Python Automation (Requests, BeautifulSoup, Selenium)

• Exposure to a DevOps Environment is a huge bonus – Automation, Containers, Cloud Platforms, Infrastructure as Code
