IT Support Engineer (Oman Citizen)

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer (Preferably an Omani Citizen) to oversee and support IT operations across all branches and factory. The role involves advanced troubleshooting, infrastructure support, coordination with vendors, and ensuring high system availability across the organization.

·        Provide advanced technical support for all IT systems across branches and factory

·        Manage and monitor IT infrastructure including servers, networks, firewalls, and endpoints

·        Ensure smooth functioning of ERP systems and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution

·        Administer user accounts, permissions, email systems, and access controls

·        Plan and execute IT maintenance activities (servers, firewall, backups, updates)

·        Monitor network performance (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi) and ensure uptime

·        Lead troubleshooting of critical issues and minimize downtime

·        Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle management

·        Implement and enforce IT policies, cybersecurity practices, and data protection measures

·        Support branch IT coordinators / supervisors and act as escalation point

·        Assist in IT project implementation (new branches, system upgrades, migrations)

·        Prepare basic reports on IT performance, issues, and improvements

·        Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

·        3–6 years of experience in IT support / system administration

·        Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, routing, switching)

·        Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and user management

·        Hands-on experience with firewalls, backup systems, and basic cybersecurity

·        Experience supporting ERP systems (preferred)

·        Ability to handle multi-location IT operations

·        Experience in retail / multi-branch / manufacturing environment

·        Familiarity with remote monitoring tools and helpdesk systems

·        Basic scripting or automation knowledge (optional)

·        Travel required between branches and factory locations

·        Availability for emergency support during critical system failures

·        Ability to lead small IT initiatives independently

·        Good communication and coordination skills across departments
