Position: Scientist / Research Associate – In Vitro Screening & Functional Assays

Location: Vapi, Gujarat

About the Role

Nuvo Labs Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated scientist/research associate to support in vitro screening and functional characterization of therapeutic antibodies and drug molecules. The candidate will contribute to high-throughput screening, cell-based functional assays, and biochemical characterization to support antibody discovery and lead candidate selection in drug discovery programs.

Key Responsibilities

In Vitro Screening & Functional Assays

• Design and execute high-throughput and medium-throughput screening assays for monoclonal and bispecific antibodies.
• Develop and perform cell-based functional assays, including:
• Receptor binding and signaling assays
• Reporter assays
• Cytokine release assays
• Immune cell activation assays
• ADCC / ADCP assays

Antibody Characterization

• Perform binding and affinity characterization using techniques such as:
• ELISA
• Flow Cytometry
• Other biochemical and immunological assays

Drug Discovery Support

• Screen antibody and drug molecule panels to support lead candidate identification and selection.
• Analyze experimental data and prepare scientific reports to support internal research programs.

Required Technical Skills

Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in:

• Mammalian cell culture techniques
• Biochemical assays, including:
• Western Blotting
• Immunoprecipitation
• Molecular biology techniques, including:
• RNA processing
• qPCR
• ddPCR
• Cloning

Preferred Qualifications

• M.Sc. / M.Tech / PhD in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related field
• Experience working in antibody discovery, immunology, or drug discovery laboratories
• Familiarity with flow cytometry and functional immune assays is highly desirable.
