Senior Data/AI SRE Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Deep understanding of the company applications and IT infrastructure;
  • Support and maintain the existing data infrastructure, ensuring reliability and efficiency;
  • Collaborate in the design and implementation of new infrastructure components;
  • Being a focal point for R&D teams, providing expert guidance and support;
  • Lead and participate in incident investigations;
  • Deliver solutions and provide support for critical IT environments, ensuring high availability and resilience;
  • Coordinate with external vendors on new deployments and technical support.

Requirements

  • At least 4+ years of practical experience in Linux administration;
  • Experience with containerization and container orchestration systems (e.g. Kubernetes);
  • Understanding of TCP/IP network stack;
  • Experience with VCS (preferably Git);
  • Good troubleshooting skills and basic application debugging;
  • Understanding/experience with message brokers (e.g. Apache Kafka);
  • Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, TeamCity, ArgoCD;
  • Experience in managing systems with configuration management (Ansible);
  • Acquaintance with Databases.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive);
  • Experience with private clouds, on-premise data centers, on-premise kubernetes.
  • Experience with DAG orchestration tools such as Kubeflow, Airflow.
  • Experience in developing Kubernetes-operators (Golang).
  • Experience with GPUs in production environments.
