We are seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst with strong experience in Agile environments and enterprise data ecosystems. The role focuses on translating business requirements into data-driven insights, supporting decision-making through structured analysis, and contributing to end-to-end analytical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, assess, and prepare data sources to support business and analytical requirements, including analysis of data availability, quality, and constraints
- Conduct stakeholder workshops to capture analytical use cases, reporting needs, KPIs, and decision requirements
- Profile, validate, and analyse data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and data quality issues
- Define and document analytical requirements, KPIs, metrics, business rules, and data logic
- Perform source-to-target mapping and support end-to-end data and reporting solution design
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to generate insights and support business decisions
- Manage analytics backlog including prioritisation of use cases, defining acceptance criteria, and aligning with business value
- Support demos, reviews, and proof-of-concept activities, presenting findings and incorporating stakeholder feedback
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, dependencies, and data-related issues to project stakeholders
- Contribute to solution design documentation and knowledge transfer activities
Key Requirements
- Strong understanding of data analysis principles including data profiling, EDA, KPI definition, and data modelling concepts
- Experience working with complex enterprise data environments, including data quality, integration, and technical constraints
- Proven ability to translate business questions into analytical requirements and actionable insights
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar
- Experience managing analytics backlogs, refining use cases, and prioritising work based on business value
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and data-driven recommendations
- Understanding of data governance, security, and privacy including role-based access and sensitive data handling
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments and manage competing priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with dashboards and visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Exposure to data modelling, data warehousing, or analytics platforms
- Experience contributing to solution design documentation
