Job Description
- Permanent Full-Time role
- Based in Pilgangoora, WA
- FIFO - 8/6 roster, 12 hours shift
- Salary $81k - $85k per annum
Other Responsibilities Include, However Not Limited To
- Ensure the timely and quality analysis of samples.
- Perform sample preparation to a high standard.
- Weigh samples accurately in an efficient manner.
- Maintain daily production numbers.
- Understand and follow laboratory methods and procedures.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the ICP laboratory area and associated areas.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment in the correct manner as required.
- Perform additional laboratory duties as required.
- At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
- Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (preferred).
- Previous experience working within a laboratory environment.
- Previous experience in sample preparation.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge in moisture, LOI, and fusing techniques.
- WA C Class Drivers Licence (manual preferred)
- Understanding of OH&S principles.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under general to limited supervision.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Good grasp of numbering and ordering.
- Ability to retain information.
- Customer Service orientation.
