AWS Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable data solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Athena, Redshift, AWS Glue, and a strong background in DevOps/DevSecOps practices. You will also be responsible for migrating data and workloads from legacy platforms to modern cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using AWS Athena and Amazon Redshift.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines with AWS Glue and other AWS services.
• Implement DevOps/DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated deployments using GitHub.
• Plan and execute data and application migrations from legacy systems to AWS.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud technologies.
• Expertise in Athena, Redshift, AWS Glue, and other AWS data services.
• Strong experience with DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub.
• Proven experience in migrating legacy data platforms to cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices, cloud governance, and cost optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
