What You Will Work On

• You develop, maintain, and enhance scalable backend services for an e‑commerce platform based on Java 21 and Spring 6–7 / Spring Boot 3–4
• You design, implement, and optimize interfaces (REST APIs) for the integration of internal and external systems
• You work closely with Product Owners and DevOps, support releases and incident management, and drive the continuous improvement of the platform
• You actively contribute within the Agile Scrum team – for example in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives – and participate in architectural and design decisions
• You ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through code reviews, automated tests, and the application of best practices
  
  
  

What You Bring With You

• Extensive professional experience in backend software development with Java, along with solid hands‑on expertise in Spring/Spring Boot, microservices, and REST API development
• Proficiency with key technologies such as SQL databases, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and optional experience with e‑commerce systems (e.g., SAP Commerce Cloud)
• Completed education or degree in the IT field, complemented by German and English language skills
• A self‑directed and proactive working style, strong teamwork abilities, analytical and structured problem‑solving skills, as well as a sense of responsibility and quality awareness
• Openness, helpfulness, creativity, and critical thinking when developing new technical solutions
