Baltics IT Business Analyst

We are looking for a Baltics IT Business Analyst to join our IT department and play a key role in transforming and optimizing our logistics operations through technology. This role connects business and technology, ensuring digital solutions seamlessly support data-driven operations across the GeoPost group business units.

The position also offers exciting opportunities to collaborate with other GeoPost Business Units across Europe, contributing to cross-border alignment and shared business and technological standards within the GeoPost group.

Your responsibilities:

1)Business & Technical Analysis

• Work with stakeholders to define and document clear business case, needs and problems, business solution, functional and non-functional requirements, and success metrics.
• Translate requirements into IT solutionʼs technical specifications.
• Analyze, evaluate and document IT solutions, systems and integrations to support IT enhancements and new implementations.
• Assess, analyze, develop and document process models (e.g., BPMN) to support process digital transformation and/or IT optimization.
• Define User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios, acceptance criteria, and traceability to requirements, support UAT.

2)Community Engagement

• Represent DPD Baltics interests, participate in community initiatives.

3)User Support & Training

• Prepare and deliver clear documentation, presentations, and training materials to ensure effective knowledge transfer to IT support teams, business users, and other stakeholders.

4)Collaboration

• Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Contribute to project planning, estimation, and prioritisation.
• Support solution design, testing, and deployment phases.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, business and technical service owners, and 3rd party services providers to ensure business requirements are correctly implemented.

5)Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, logistics innovations, and business analysis trends.
• Promote data-driven decision making.
• Continuous improvement of business analysis service quality and KPIʼs

Familiarity with the following IT concepts and technologies is considered an asset:

• Understanding of system integration concepts and how data moves between systems.
• Familiarity with web services (SOAP, REST) and API-based integrations.
• Awareness of data exchange protocols such as FTP/SFTP, message queues, etc.
• Ability to interpret or validate data in JSON, XML, or CSV formats.
• Basic understanding of data modeling.
• Ability to interpret or write simple data extract queries (SQL).
• General awareness of cloud platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Azure) and their role in modern ecosystems.

• Ability to work independently and within the cross-functional and business units' teams.
• Knowledge of analysis related tools, frameworks, standard modeling languages, e.g., BPML, UML.
• Excellent English knowledge (oral and written).
