About the Role

As an AI Engineer, you will play a key role in developing AI‑powered features across our platform, including:

• Document automation
• Contract analysis
• Legal data extraction
• AI‑assisted search and reasoning
• Workflow intelligence

You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and domain‑expert teams to design solutions that solve real, meaningful problems in the legal world. You will work end‑to‑end on AI features from experimentation to deployment and help shape our long‑term AI strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Build and deploy LLM‑powered features for document understanding, summarisation, contract parsing, and advanced retrieval
• Develop internal tools for processing legal data, improving accuracy, and supporting model evaluation
• Integrate AI capabilities into the core platform (search, recommendations, classification, automation)
• Work with cloud‑native infrastructure to scale AI solutions in production
• Actively explore, test, and implement new AI techniques, frameworks, and best practices
• Collaborate with legal specialists to deeply understand domain requirements
• Ensure responsible AI use, high accuracy, and robust security essential in legal tech

Technical Stack:

Core Requirements

• Experience with LLMs and modern AI stacks
• Python (core language for ML/AI work)
• Experience with vector databases and RAG systems
• Experience building or fine‑tuning models (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI, etc.)
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar tooling
• API development & cloud‑native deployment experience

Nice to Have

• Contract analysis or legal document experience
• NLP pipelines (spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face)
• Knowledge of Finnish language models
• Frontend or full‑stack capability (React, TypeScript)
• Experience working in regulated or data‑sensitive industries
