Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Software Developer (also open to Technical Lead / Lead Engineer / Principal Developer profiles) to design, build, and lead scalable backend systems while guiding a team of engineers.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be actively involved in development using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript, while also mentoring developers and driving technical direction. You’ll play a key role in shaping architecture, improving engineering standards, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will lead and support a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices across development, code quality, and system design. Alongside hands-on coding, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver robust backend solutions.

The role also involves contributing to architecture decisions, improving development processes, and ensuring systems are scalable, secure, and high-performing. Strong communication with stakeholders will be important to align technical delivery with business needs.

What We’re Looking For

8+ years of software development experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role

• Strong hands-on expertise in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience building and scaling backend systems
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and guide engineering teams
• Solid understanding of modern development practices and system design
