We are seeking an experienced Lead Mobile Engineer with strong expertise in developing and scaling B2C mobile apps to join our dynamic team. Our mobile engineers work alongside product teams across the organization, and this role serves as the technical reference point for mobile development. As Lead Mobile Engineer, you will ensure quality, consistency, and architectural alignment across our Flutter codebase, while supporting and elevating the mobile engineers contributing to it, helping the mobile app grow cohesively as the product evolves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of mobile applications using Flutter framework and coordinate its technological roadmap;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences;
• Architect, design, and implement new features and functionalities in our mobile applications;
• Optimise application performance for maximum speed and scalability;
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members;
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional growth;
• Write unit and automation tests;
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development and Flutter framework.
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in mobile application development;
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Flutter framework;
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices;
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries integration;
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies;
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for mobile applications;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines;
• Experience with Javascript / Typescript;
• Experience with relational databases;
• BrowserStack and Appium;
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the Flutter community.
