Your Role

As our Product Engineer, you’ll help shape the Toppi product from the ground up. This isn’t a role for someone looking to maintain legacy systems, you’ll design, build and ship new features end-to-end, work closely with our founding team and help define how restaurants compete in the age of AI.

You will:

• Build, ship and own frontend and backend features, fast.
• Work in tight loops with customers, turning insights into solutions.
• Collaborate with design and product to improve the experience of hundreds of restaurants.
• Help shape and scale our engineering practices, from code quality to deployment.
• Get your hands dirty across the stack (whether it’s React, FastAPI or helping improve AI outputs).

Who You Are

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience building and shipping products.
• Comfortable working full-stack (React + FastAPI + Google Cloud).
• Strong product mindset, you care about the why, not just the how.
• Experience in a fast-moving startup or product-focused environment.
• You are fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
• Curious, proactive and eager to build things that have real impact.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with AI or integrating ML-powered features.
• Familiarity with Terraform and CI/CID.
• An eye for design, user experience or data-driven product development.
