What the Successful AI Engineer can expect from their duties within the role:

• Designing, developing, and deploying AI systems and machine learning models that solve commercial challenges.
• Translating business problems into AI solutions, ensuring the technical approach aligns with real-world requirements.
• Engaging with cross-functional teams to improve systems, architectures, and processes using innovative AI techniques.

The Successful AI Engineer will have experience in this tech stack:

• Strong programming skills in Python, plus experience in C++, Java, or C#/.NET.
• Deep understanding of machine learning theory and practical experience building ML systems.
• Direct experience leveraging LLMs in production, including prompt design, agentic workflows, retrieval pipelines, and evaluation harnesses.
• Knowledge of LLM inference stack fundamentals, such as KV caching, speculative decoding, and parallel decoding.
• Experience with SQL databases and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Some Additional experience that is highly desirable but not required for this role:

• Exposure to financial services or capital markets.
• Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into AI solutions.
• Familiarity with end-to-end deployment of scalable ML/AI systems.
