Software Engineer

Designation: Senior engineer motion control software.

This opening offers a unique opportunity to attain a significant position in Robotic development project.

Job Description:

• Work with R&D teams to develop software for new and existing medical device products.
• Software design and development of embedded real-time systems/Robotics, including the development of Software Unit Test & Integration plans.
• Participates in other quality assurance functions, including, but not limited to Software code analysis, risk/hazard analysis, and test automation development.
• Dynamic simulation/analysis of the mechanisms/systems, Static analysis of the components.

Location: Meril, IITM research park, Tharamani, Chennai.

Shift: General shift, Monday to Saturday (9.00 am to 5.30 pm).

Qualification:

BE/B.Tech in Mechanical/Robotics/Aerospace engineering with 3+ years of experience / M. Tech in Mechanical/Robotics/Aerospace with 3+ years of experience.

Experience:

• 3 to 10 years’ experience in Robotics and Embedded Systems
• Experience in communication protocols like I2C, SPI, Ether CAT and CAN
• Experience in developing robot manipulators IK and FK.
• Worked with Manipulator controllers.
• Theoretical knowledge of Solid Mechanics, Dynamics, Robotics and Control systems. Working knowledge of interfacing sensors and actuators with the embedded system

Skills:

• Strong C, C++ programming skills (C++ 11 or above), Python programming skill,
• Working knowledge of MATLAB, SIMULINK
• Good understanding of ROS/ROS 2/ Any robotics Software Development Kit Good Mathematics and Physics knowledge.
