Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join our Platform Engineering organization. This role is critical in bridging business needs with technical execution, ensuring that UI and backend applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions deliver measurable business value.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, experience working in Azure environments, and a proven ability to translate business requirements into clear, scalable technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, DevOps, and business stakeholders to define product vision, drive execution, and ensure reliable delivery across front-end and backend systems. An interest in AI-driven tools to improve efficiency, documentation, and decision-making is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Business Stakeholders:
• Understand complex business requirements and convert them into clear technical product requirements for UI and backend systems.
• Product & Roadmap Ownership:
• Define, maintain, and communicate product roadmaps for frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and platform capabilities aligned with business goals.
• Business-to-Technical Translation:
• Serve as the primary bridge between business and engineering teams, translating business needs into technical solutions, architectural considerations, and delivery plans.
• Technical Solution Design:
• Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical solutions involving UI frameworks, backend services, microservices, APIs, and system integrations.
• Azure Platform Enablement:
• Drive solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure, ensuring alignment with best practices for security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Requirements & Backlog Management:
• Gather, document, prioritize, and refine functional and technical requirements, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• AI-Driven Efficiency:
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot-style assistants, AI-supported documentation and analysis tools) to improve product planning, backlog grooming, and delivery efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with UI, backend, QA, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure high-quality delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Documentation & Communication:
• Create clear technical documentation, business cases, and stakeholder communications tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Performance Tracking:
• Define KPIs and success metrics to track adoption, reliability, performance, and business impact of UI and backend applications.

Required Skillset & Tool Knowledge

• Product Management Fundamentals:
• Roadmap ownership, backlog management, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement.
• Technical Product Experience:
• Strong understanding of UI applications, backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Azure Expertise:
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, or similar.
• Technical Solutions Mindset:
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions spanning frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
• Agile Tools & Collaboration:
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, OneDrive, and related collaboration tools.
• Communication Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of aligning business and engineering stakeholders.

Good to Haves

• Experience owning or supporting UI and backend application platform.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, API-first design, and system integrations
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployments
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS)
• Interest in or experience using AI-powered tools to improve productivity and delivery quality.
• Understanding of observability concepts (logging, monitoring, metrics)
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale or business-critical applications.
• Passion for building scalable, reliable, and well-designed technical solution.
