Job Summary

PIP is growing and seeking a Front-End Web Developer to join our IT team in Latham, NY. Reporting to the Director of IT, Digital Platforms, you’ll help build and optimize industry-leading websites and applications that support our global business. You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales to design engaging, high-performance digital experiences that showcase our brand. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented developer who’s passionate about clean design, modern UI/UX, and delivering seamless user interactions in a fast-paced environment.

THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION IN LATHAM, NY.

Job Responsibilities

Interacting with dynamic data from multiple sources (PIM / ERP)
Create responsive website applications using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Sass, Laravel, Bootstrap, jQuery, Vue JS
Organize complex data sets and develop unique, user-friendly experiences
Testing and debugging
Maintain and develop existing company websites in Big Commerce and Shopify

Core Skills/Competency Requirements

1-4 years of experience in Front End Development
Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or similar field preferred
Advanced skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Sass
Experience with version control software (GitHub)
Hand code PHP to develop custom web applications
Adobe Creative Suite experience
Highly detail oriented
Ability to problem solve complex issues quickly and efficiently
Proven ability to work with a high-paced, dynamic team
