The Data & Reporting Analyst will be a key member of the Upstream Analytical Support team supporting upstream financials and performance analytics. Working closely with Upstream Accounting teams, Upstream BPF teams and Upstream operations, amongst other teams, this role will focus on data-driven insights to help understand spend, optimize financial forecasting and add operational transparency for Upstream, ARO and Project & Fixed Assets GPO.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor financial performance.
  • Analyze large datasets from SAP, S4Hanna, JDE and other enterprise systems to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, including variance analysis and performance scorecards for Upstream assets and ARO.
  • Support AFE Nav and AFE Lifecycle Tool deployments by developing and implementing the tools for the different regions, engaging with the business to understand unique workflows, working with the vendor to gain expertise and address knowledge gaps, coordinating the different phases and being the focal point for the teams involved.

 Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the Finance Analysts, BPF Teams and Data Insights teams, to align data insights, providing support to Upstream Assets and Asset Retirement organization.
  • Serve as a data liaison between Operations, BPF Teams and Analytical Support Team.
  • Collaborate with AFE Nav vendor to gain expertise and address knowledge gaps, to ensure a successful implementation of the tool.

 Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and automate recurring reporting tasks.
  • Contribute to the development of standardized data models and templates for financial and contract analysis.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Provide data validation and performance metrics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Accountant or related.
  • +7 years of relevant work experience in Finance.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Experience with SAP and S4Hanna.
