Your mission:
As a Data Analyst in the E2E Quality department, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to help drive data-driven business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs, provide insights, and develop data strategies that improve customer quality and business performance. Your ability to turn data into actionable information will be key in supporting our organization’s quality and efficiency.
Job location: Brussels / Gosselies / Ans.
Your main responsibilities:
- Gather and process both structured and unstructured data from various sources including databases, APIs, and raw data files thats contribute to the company data lake.
- Challenge any assumption and perform data exploration, cleaning and preprocessing to ensure data integrity, quality, and relevant usability.
- Analyse large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations relevant to business objectives by leveraging on statistical methods and data mining.
- Translate complex technical data into simple usable indicators and perform in depth analysis delivering understandable findings that will trigger actionable business recommendations.
- Create visualizations and dashboards to represent data findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders, including management and other departments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and develop data-driven solutions to improve the customer experience, strengthen the technical leadership and optimize resource allocation.
- Automate repetitive tasks and processes using scripts and macros or building simple frameworks.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar function
- Experience with statistical software and database management (e.g. BigQuery, SQL, Python, R, Excel)
- Proficiency in BI tools such as data visualization (e.g. PowerBI, Google Looker, Tableau)
- Experience with ETL within Cloud environments (e.g. GCP, DataForm, Matillon, Alteryx, AWS Redshit)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent French & English. Dutch would be a plus
