⭐ Mission

Join our AI Lab as an iOS Product Engineer and help accelerate Qonto's transition to an AI-first product. You'll ship user-facing AI agents that transform how 600,000+ businesses manage their finances, working in small, autonomous squads under the guidance of Sophie, our Manager for the AI Lab.

With an ambitious goal to launch one AI agent every 6 weeks, you'll deliver high-impact mobile experiences with production-grade standards, and help build the scalable foundations that carry these agents across iOS, Android, and Web.

👩‍💻🧑‍💻 As an iOS Product Engineer - AI Lab at Qonto, you will

• Ship fast and well: Deliver a new AI agent experience every 6 weeks, balancing speed with reliability and minimal technical debt.
• Build scalable foundations: Architect clean, testable, and performant mobile solutions that scale as we replicate agent capabilities across the app.
• Leverage AI daily: Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot…) for ~70% of your coding to review, refine, and ship features faster. (Click HERE to read our vision statement on AI at Qonto.)
• Drive cross-platform speed: Ensure AI features shipped on Web reach Mobile fast, owning the mobile layer end-to-end.
  
  

🏅 What we're looking for

• Mobile expertise: You have strong production experience with Swift, and know how to ship at pace — Kotlin is a plus.
• Startup mindset: You're a fast learner and confident shipper who thrives under velocity constraints without sacrificing quality — fintech or regulated industry experience is a plus.
• AI-native workflow: You're an early adopter of AI coding tools and use them daily to amplify your output — not just experiment with them.
• Adaptability: You're pragmatic, step outside your comfort zone when needed, and commit once a decision is made — even if it wasn't yours.
• Strong communication: You can articulate technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders and navigate cross-functional squads with ease.

🤝 About your future manager

You'll work closely with Sophie, Manager of the AI Lab — but don't expect hand-holding.

Sophie has led cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle at both fast-growing startups and established tech companies. She partners directly with Product and Tech leadership to align the AI roadmap with Qonto's strategic goals.

Her approach: give engineers real ownership, create space for experimentation, and empower the squad to adapt their ways of working in pursuit of real impact.

💬 Hiring Process

• 2 Interviews (1 hour each): first with your Talent Acquisition Manager, then with Sophie or one of her team leads
• A live exercise (2 hours) to see how you think and give you a feel for what working at Qonto is like
