Senior C & Java Developer- Romania

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C & Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain both low-level system software in C and enterprise-level applications in Java. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in procedural programming, memory management, and modern Java application development. You will work on complex systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C and Java
• Build efficient, high-performance, and scalable backend systems
• Analyze and translate business and system requirements into technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Optimize code for performance, memory usage, and resource management
• Work on multithreaded and concurrent applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design system architecture
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in C (memory management, pointers, procedural programming)
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+; OOP, data structures, multithreading)
• Solid understanding of algorithms and system-level programming
• Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments

• Experience with networking, sockets, or embedded systems
• Knowledge of databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Experience with REST APIs or microservices architecture
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of build tools (Maven, Makefiles, CMake)
