Research And Development Specialist

Support the day-to-day operations of the R&D platform by monitoring application workflows, coordinating review processes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting reporting activities to ensure smooth and compliant program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the R&D Incentive platform by tracking application progress and ensuring timely movement across all workflow stages.
• Monitor the status of applications within the online platform and coordinate any required manual interventions or exception handling for cases requiring special attention.
• Assist in the review and validation of submitted applications, ensuring completeness and adherence to program requirements.
• Support the issuance of approval and certification documents, including preparation of final approval letters and accurate documentation of decisions within the system.
• Prepare periodic MIS reports, data summaries, and outcome dashboards to support internal reporting and continuous platform improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate internal review cycles and follow-ups for flagged, pending, or escalated applications requiring additional scrutiny.
• Maintain a well-structured digital repository of application records, approvals, and supporting documents to ensure audit readiness, transparency, and future reference.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely updates across the platform and associated tracking systems.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and support process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Science, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in supporting government programs, funding operations, grant management, or R&D incentive processes
• Experience working with application tracking systems, workflow tools, or government digital service platforms is highly preferred
