Managing Director

Pacific International has been retained by a leading industrial manufacturer with a presence in Switzerland. This business is looking to bring aboard an experienced Managing Director to oversee a strategic part of the business.

Based in Switzerland, the right candidate will have a strong track record in operations and transformation to take the business to the next level. You will have experience managing a P&L in an international environment, combining strategic overview with a hands-on approach. You will be leading and developing a team during this exciting and strategic transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee P&L of the business
• Drive operations across the entire value chain from supply to customer satisfaction
• Lead transformation where required to meet company targets
• Lead, develop and upskill the team
• Provide insights on existing customer base to strengthen long term partnerships
• Assist broader strategic commercial efforts

Candidate profile:

• Engineering or similar technical degree, MBA a plus
• 10+ years’ experience managing international team
• Experience managing full P&L is a must
• Experience in Operations (quality, maintenance, etc..) a plus
• Industrial background preferred
• Experience with products combining hardware & software a plus
• Proven experience leading transformation
• Must speak fluent English, conversational German
• Location: Must be in Switzerland or open to relocate there
