Front-End Developer / Product Designer | Rankscale | Vienna (Hybrid) | Full-time

• At Rankscale, we build software to help hundreds of brands (such as Bosch, REWE, L'Oreal, Publicis Groupe) monitor and improve their visibility in AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity. We look for people who embrace AI tooling to 10x what they are capable of.
• We are scaling fast and need someone who can own our frontend and product design: turning complex AI visibility data into interfaces that are not just functional but genuinely beautiful: intuitive dashboards, powerful filtering, and seamless user workflows that users love. - We hire based on talent and drive, not years of experience or credentials. If you can design and build, we want to hear from you. - You will work alongside 2 other full-stack developers, the CEO, and the CPO.

Where this goes:

• In 12 months, you will be the person who defines how Rankscale looks and feels, owning both the design system and its implementation as we expand to new markets, engines and scale our user base.

• Pioneered AI Search Visibility in 2024 as one of the first platforms in the space
• Bootstrapped to DACH market leadership before raising a small round in late 2025 - Currently a team of 9
• Office is located in Vienna (DC Tower - 30th floor, 3 stops away from Praterstern)

What You Will Do

• Own the look and feel of our product: redesigning and evolving our UI to a standard that enterprise clients and agencies are proud to present
• Translate complex AI visibility data (visibility scores, sentiment, citations, competitor benchmarks) into clean, intuitive dashboard experiences: designing and building them yourself
• Build and iterate on onboarding flows, prompt configuration UIs, workspace management and sharing flows: from Figma to production.
• Work directly with the CTO and CEO to ship new design fast, with quality, ensuring design and implementation are always in sync

Qualifications

Must-have

• Strong design sensibility: you have a portfolio that shows you can make data products look and feel great- Ability to implement your own designs in React. You don't hand off, you ship- Experience designing data-heavy UIs (tables, charts, time series, filtering) with a sharp eye for usability and hierarchy- Ability to work independently, make product decisions and drive both design and frontend without heavy spec documents

Nice-to-have

• Proficiency in Figma or similar design tooling Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first frameworks Familiarity with Firebase / Firestore on the frontend Background in SaaS products serving enterprise clients

Qualifications

• Experience designing data-heavy UIs (tables, charts, time series, filtering) with a sharp eye for usability and hierarchy.
