Business Data Steward – Corporate Lending (m/f/d)
We are hiring a Business Data Steward to strengthen our data capabilities within Corporate Lending and Credit Risk.
In this role, you will work closely with business teams, take responsibility for data quality and data definitions, and support analysis, reporting, and decision‑making in a Corporate Banking environment. You will help improve how data is structured, understood, and used across the business.
This role is well‑suited for someone who enjoys working close to the business, feels comfortable taking responsibility for data topics, and likes improving structures in a hands‑on way.
What you will work on:
- Ensuring data quality within the Corporate Data Domain
- Performing data‑quality checks and coordinating corrective actions
- Owning and maintaining key data elements, definitions, and business rules
- Analysing client, product, portfolio, and risk data to support business decisions
- Designing and improving dashboards and reports
- Translating business questions into clear reporting requirements
- Documenting data sources, definitions, and data flows
- Acting as a primary contact for data‑related topics and supporting projects and change initiatives
What you bring:
- Experience in data analysis or business analytics within a financial institution, ideally with exposure to Corporate Lending
- Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- A solid understanding of data flows, data structures, and interfaces
- A structured, detail‑oriented, and analytical working style
- Confidence in working with stakeholders across different functions
- Business‑professional English (German or Dutch is a plus)
