Position: Java Game Developer (libGDX)

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $50 - $150/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain 2D and 3D games using Java and libGDX.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to create engaging gameplay experiences.
• Optimize game performance across desktop, Android, and web platforms.
• Build reusable and modular code structures for scalable development.
• Implement gameplay mechanics, UI elements, and interactive features.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communicate progress, feedback, and technical insights with the team.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java programming, especially in game development.
• Strong experience working with the libGDX framework.
• Solid understanding of cross-platform game development principles.
• Ability to optimize performance and improve code efficiency.
• Experience building modular and reusable codebases.
• Strong communication skills with clear documentation practices.
• Passion for creating interactive and high-quality gaming experiences.
