Product Manager

We are hiring a Product & Partnerships Lead – FinTech to drive client's ecosystem expansion strategy in Australia. This is a high-impact role focused on building and launching new financial products beyond remittances, including payments, wallets, FX, and other value-added services. You will work at the intersection of product, partnerships, compliance, and go-to-market, collaborating with global stakeholders to deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development from ideation to launch across web and mobile platforms
• Negotiate and execute complex, multi-year supplier and partner agreements
• Work with legal, compliance, and regulatory bodies to secure approvals and licenses
• Define customer value propositions, pricing strategies, and servicing models
• Develop business requirements, workflows, epics, and user stories
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and analytics teams to ensure timely delivery
• Drive go-to-market strategies in partnership with marketing teams
• Monitor product performance using KPIs, analytics, and ROI frameworks
• Continuously improve customer experience through testing and optimization
• Solve cross-functional challenges across payments, compliance, legal, and operations

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in FinTech, payments, banking, or financial services
• Strong knowledge of domestic/international payments, wallets, cards, or FX
• Experience in product management, program delivery, or partnerships
• Exposure to compliance, regulatory frameworks, and risk management
• Strong stakeholder management experience across global, matrixed teams
• Good understanding of APIs, integrations, workflows, and scalable systems
• Strong analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs and measuring product success
• Experience with wireframing or user journey mapping is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a strong plus
• Certifications in Product Management, Agile/Scrum, or FinTech-related domains are advantageous
• Prior experience working in regulated financial environments or global organizations preferred
