Senior Frontend Engineer - Embedded

Fed up of building web apps and want to work on something tangible, something you can touch, something that is used in the real world and used for good?

This is an opportunity to build an interface that connects to hardware which saves lives everyday. Your work will be directly connected to real-world impact.

Imagine working alongside AI / ML teams and RF Sensing Engineers who are creating complex hardware and your job is to make it super simple to use. You will of course be working with other awesome software engineers but you’ll be a part of something bigger than the sum of it’s parts.

The existing frontend is built in Vue but they are migrating to React so being comfortable in vanilla JavaScript and cross framework would be important. In fact, this role is more about solving problems than being language specific. There will be some work on the existing system but the lion's share of the work you’ll be doing is on greenfield, never-been-done-before tech.

Never-been-done-before can sometimes be seen as a gamble but seeing as they’ve raised $250m, have teams globally and customers in 120 different countries, all signs point to them doing it REALLY well.

You don’t need to have experience in embedded frontend but it would help as there is a level of complexity which isn’t found in traditional backend-frontend systems. However, if you’re super curious and love making complex things simple, this could be a chance to use your skills to do something completely different.
