  • Monitor project performance and control costs, schedules, and technical milestones.

  • Lead contractual discussions and ensure alignment with project objectives and deliverables.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and programmatic risks in collaboration with technical teams.

  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance, product assurance, and applicable standards (including ECSS where relevant).

  • Prepare project documentation, including milestone reviews, technical reports, and project closure documentation.

Requirements

  • PhD or MSc in Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.

  • 2–5 years of experience in telecommunications, satellite communications, or wireless systems.

  • Knowledge of 3GPP cellular systems (4G/5G/6G) and familiarity with Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN) and IoT connectivity.

  • Experience managing or coordinating R&D or institutional projects (e.g., ESA, Horizon Europe, national space agencies, or similar programs)

  • Strong understanding of project management practices, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

  • Experience preparing technical proposals and project documentation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate between technical teams, management, and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic startup environment, manage multiple projects, and shift priorities when required.

  • Fluency in spoken and written English.

  • Important: Must already reside in Europe or hold a valid European work permit.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with ECSS standards and their tailoring for satellite communication projects.

  • Background in satellite communication systems, particularly 5G NTN or direct-to-device architectures.

  • Experience in product assurance or quality assurance for space or telecom systems.

  • Familiarity with PNT technologies, satellite-to-UAV communications, or advanced wireless R&D projects.

Benefits

  • Enjoy a 50% income tax exemption on your salary – an exceptional incentive for top talent relocating to Luxembourg, subject to eligibility conditions.

  • Hybrid working environment.

  • Opportunity to work on flagship EU space mission projects.

  • A dynamic, high-growth environment with career development opportunities.
