Internship Product Analytics

bol
Netherlands · Full-time · Not Applicable

How will you make our customers happy?

At bol, data and analytics help teams make better decisions for millions of customers and partners. As a Product Analytics Intern, you’ll contribute to the foundations that make those decisions reliable, scalable, and reusable. By leveraging AI tools to document, structure, and improve analytics assets, you help teams move faster with more confidence. You’ll learn where AI accelerates analytics work — and where critical human review remains essential — while supporting analysts in creating clarity, consistency, and trust in data.

What will you do?

Responsibilities

You’ll join a team of Product Analysts that works closely with product teams across bol. Your role focuses on strengthening analytics foundations and enablement, with heavy use of AI tools and clear human review steps. Your responsibilities include:

  • Inventory and document analytics assets such as metrics, dashboards, data sources, data models, and other analytical data assets
  • Use AI to cluster related assets, surface duplication or inconsistencies, and draft first‑pass documentation (definitions, assumptions, intended use, caveats) for review
  • Maintain analytics‑related decision logs that capture decisions affecting metrics, experiments, and analytical assumptions
  • Support the creation of a shared experimentation knowledge repository that can be used by both humans and AI agents
  • Create guidelines, guardrails, and reusable templates for experiment setup completeness and experiment readouts, with AI assistance
  • Monitor basic data quality signals and log anomalies for follow‑up
  • Produce recurring reports using stable logic and AI‑generated summaries
  • Prepare internal demos, walkthroughs, and updates to help teams understand and adopt AI‑assisted analytics workflows

You’ll actively work with AI tools such as Copilot, Gemini Code Assist and Claude Code to streamline and even automate repetitive tasks — always with an explicit focus on quality, review, and responsible use.

What do you bring?

  • We’re looking for a curious and structured student who wants to learn how analytics and AI work together in practice.
  • You’re currently studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • You’re interested in data, analytics, and the practical and responsible use of AI tools
  • You enjoy structuring information, documenting systems, and improving workflows
  • You understand that AI outputs require critical human review and validation
  • You’re detail‑oriented, reflective, and comfortable working with ambiguity
  • You communicate clearly in English
  • You’re available at least 3 days per week for 4-6 months

We take pride in our B Corp certification and strive for continuous improvement every day. Our annual bonus is tied to sustainability goals, and we are committed to equality and equal opportunities for all.
