We are currently seeking a passionate Product Owner with excellent interpersonal skills to help drive the development of products that support our mission: making life easier for travelers.


In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating work within Agile environments, ensuring effective planning, coordination, prioritisation, and execution of the product backlog alongside the development team. You will champion agile methodologies and serve as a key link between teams to guarantee successful deliveries aligned with sprint objectives.


We’re building a team of passionate Product Owners. In this role, you’ll report to an experienced Product Owner who deeply understands the position. You’ll work closely with our Product Manager and Product Lead, collaborating to deliver real impact.


Mission:

Maximise product value by partnering with cross-functional teams to coordinate roadmap priorities and deliver an exceptional product experience. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies to ensure alignment and agility within the team. We search for a PO who can effectively drive Agile within our IT and Product Management teams, be an advocate for deliverability and process management.

Key activities / responsibilities to perform:

  • Apply project management best practices, always keeping deadlines and priorities clear whilst aligning the team.
  • Lead an ambitious product development roadmap, maintaining business vision and strategy, collaborating with various roles.
  • Lead one or two squad(s) to ensure efficient execution and alignment.
  • Define and manage the “big development picture” of each sprint.
  • Plan deployments to the testing environment in collaboration with QA and IT.
  • Use agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
  • Protect the team from external interruptions and remove obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
  • Determine and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items
  • Schedule and facilitate scrum ceremonies, meetings, and decision-making processes.
  • Product skills in writing and content agile structuring.
  • Familiar with Jira projects (Software and Service Management), including the setup and maintenance of dashboards and filters (JQL), automation of workflows (using Jira Automation), and Jira plugins such as Tempo, Xray, Insight, …
  • The ability to define and manage performing data from JIRA, analyse it, and produce accurate, clear reports to support decision-making will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to set up dashboards and reports to effectively track sprints and agile performance metrics in Jira


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, Product Management, Marketing, Advertising, Psychology, Engineering or any other related field. An equivalent of this requirement in working experience is also acceptable
  • +2 years of relevant work experience as a product owner
  • Highly motivated, creative thinker
  • Organised, proactive and detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Scrum or Agile certificate
  • Skilled in JIRA Software & Confluence

  • Excellent organisational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting across all levels of the organisation and with external partners
  • Notable leadership skills in order to mediate between teams, resolving conflicts through active listening
  • Exceptional analytical skills and used to report and communicate through Data
  • Managing 4 / 5 digital products
  • Proficient in web and app products
  • Project and Time Management skills
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Excel, and Data Studio is a plus


Schedule: Full Time

  • Flexible hours (7.5 hours a day)
  • 100% Remote (we have a very nice office right next to Torre Agbar in Barcelona in case you want to work from there too)
