We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Software Engineer to work in a highly collaborative Agile environment. You'll contribute to the design, development, security, and scalability of cutting-edge products. This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise applications, enhancing your technical skills and you will be part of a mission critical application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development Leadership: Lead planning and development of new products and processes, adhering to Nuix Engineering practices.
• Software Architecture Mastery: Maintain deep knowledge of the software architecture of specific Nuix products while understanding all others.
• Feature Design and Execution: Own design execution for feature areas, conducting in-depth analysis and technical reviews to enhance products.
• Software Design Documentation: Develop and document software design and requirements, ensuring compliance with coding standards.
• Maintenance and Support: Provide scheduled maintenance support and engage in technical analysis of Nuix software.
• Technology Trend Monitoring: Actively monitor emerging technology trends that could benefit Nuix.
• Agile Solution Delivery: Deliver scalable solutions as part of an Agile team and ensure seamless integration across projects.
• Team Guidance and Oversight: Provide guidance to ensure adherence to designs and standards, and manage team progress through backlog systems.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Champion cross-team initiatives to ensure interoperability of technologies across Nuix.
• Talent Development: Engage in continuous learning, provide training, perform code reviews, and mentor junior team members to support organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Lucene or Elasticsearch and Java experience required
• Soft skills: Excellent at building rapport, ability to influence and foster innovation and drive high-perfoming teams, backed with specific examples in your current and previous roles.
• Software development experience with successful track record and demonstrated capability to provide technical solutions to complex problems.
• Assisting in the interview process and mentoring new team members.
• Strong interest or experience in platform automation technologies such as Kubernetes & Helm
