Our Enterprise Technology & System Integration team brings together skills in intelligent automation, data engineering, software integration and cloud platforms to help our clients align their technology capabilities with their strategic and operational objectives. We also draw on KPMG’s extensive national and global resources, adopting a multidisciplinary approach to help unlock the full potential of existing and new technology investments.

Your Opportunity

As a Cloud Solutions Architect within our Cloud Platforms and Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role by:

  • Designing and architecting end-to-end cloud solutions that align with our clients’ strategic objectives and cloud transformation goals.
  • Leading the technical planning and delivery of cloud projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure while adhering to best practices.
  • Collaborating with client business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business requirements into cloud-based architectures and deployment strategies.
  • Crafting detailed cloud infrastructure designs, including consideration of cost, performance, and compliance requirements, to support application development and business processes.
  • Overseeing the migration of legacy systems to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining data integrity throughout the transition process.

  • You are highly experienced in architecting complex cloud platform solutions with consideration for availability, performance, cost, scalability and security
  • You have excellent presentation skills, including the ability to discuss architecture options and technical considerations with non-technical audiences
  • You are comfortable presenting and developing professional relationships with client executives e.g. experience presenting to committees or boards, ability to rapidly establish credibility and instil confidence in clients
  • You are knowledgeable about cloud industry trends and best practices across at least one of the following topics: public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud, microservices, cloud security, Azure, AWS, GCP, virtualisation
  • You have professional cloud architecture certifications with at least one of the major cloud providers, e.g. AWS, Azure or GCP
