As part of ING Analytics Wholesale Banking (INGAWB), you will contribute to building algorithmic, 10x datadriven products that generate tangible value for our clients and revenue for the bank.

About the Role

We are looking for a Agentic AI Data Scientist who will be responsible for scoping, developing, validating, and documenting Agentic AI solutions that form the core of products developed by ING Analytics Wholesale Banking for ING.

You will work as part of a crossfunctional analytics squad, contributing to globally scalable AI solutions, particularly within the KYC domain, while ensuring high quality, governance compliance, and real business impact.

What You’ll Do

• Develop deep expertise in applying Agentic AI techniques to perform automated tasks in the KYC domain, including:
• Data extraction from documents
• Completeness and reliability assessments
• Context engineering and optimization
• Contribute to advanced analytics projects such as:
• Machine and representation learning
• Entity resolution
• Network and graphbased applications
• Adopt best practices and quality standards for developing and deploying fitforpurpose model pipelines, in line with ING model governance requirements.
• Be an effective member of a model development and implementation squad, challenge the status quo, and focus on building what truly matters.
• Actively learn the business domain, engage with stakeholders, and tell compelling stories with data to create solutions that make our bank — and our society — safer.

What You Bring

(Requirements – based strictly on your first input)

• Proven experience working with Agentic AI and LLM techniques.
• A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or a related field; MSc or PhD is a plus.
• At least 3+ years of work experience in the Data Science field, covering:
• Data science methods and technologies
• Statistical modeling
• Machine learning applied to business problems and/or innovative datadriven products
• Strong proficiency in Python (required)
• Solid knowledge of a wide range of machine learning algorithms, from classical econometric models to stateoftheart neural networks, and the ability to match them to business problems
• A friendly, approachable personality, with good humor and a collaborative mindset
• Strong motivation to stay uptodate with the latest developments in data science and AI
